A graduate of Delhi University, born and brought up in New Delhi, India, he holds diploma in Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition.
He began his hospitality industry career with Hyatt Regency Hotel as an assistant manager of food & beverages, soon progressed into various operational capacities with Inter-Continental Hotels & Resorts and Imperial Hotel prior to joining Royal Caribbean Cruise Liners based in Florida, USA in 2001.
During his career, he has worked with many luxury hotels and passenger cruise ships and delivered professional and efficient service working with highly demanding standards.
Operating procedures and meeting guest satisfaction and expectations by going on the extra mile. He has thorough knowledge of food and wine and is definitely an asset to the hospitality industry.
He brings in a wealth of experience and knowledge of Indian food and wines from all over the world in the stylish and contemporary Maurya Restaurant, Stanmore.
He loves the multi-cultural vibrant city of London and understands the British style of enjoying curry and will surely help to make your dining in Maurya Restaurant an occasion to remember. |

Our Master Chef Qureshi has over 30 years’ experience in the field of Indian cuisine and it is his passion.
Chef Qureshi has been Master Chef at the Indian Speciality restaurant, ‘Baluchi’ at the Inter-Continental hotel in New Delhi, for over a decade.
Mr. Qureshi has been playing with flavours since he was child of six. His forefather’s has been in service of Maharaja’s and Nawab (Emperors) in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh.
A foodie who loves to cook even when at home, he has co-authored a book ‘The Great Indian Cookbook’ and has taken apart in various Indian Food festival held around the globe.
